By purchasing through this website you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions laid out below. These terms and conditions apply to online and Telephone transactions only and do not apply to any purchases made from visiting the store. It is important that Whether before or after You Purchase from us That You Read at least the first 2 or 3 paragraphs of the Terms and Conditions or The Delivery Information Section..These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a Buyer.
Definitions
"Buyer" means the Buyer who buys or agrees to buy Goods on this website from www.bestpricebeds Ltd
"Goods" means all products listed on the order and the order confirmation e-mail
"Consumer" has the meaning given in section 12 Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977
"Special Items" mean any Goods that are not held in stock by www.bestpricebeds ltd and are ordered and/or manufactured specifically for the Buyer.
"Delivery" means the delivery of the Goods to the delivery address specified on the order.
Risk and Ownership
The Goods shall be at the Buyer's risk once delivery has taken place. The Buyer must take all reasonable care of the Goods. Should the Goods be returned to www.bestpricebeds ltd having been damaged while in the Buyer's care, the cost of such damage will be recovered from the Buyer.
Ownership of the Goods will only pass when cleared funds have been received from the Buyer, regardless of whether delivery has taken place.
Limitations of Liability
All contracts shall be governed by English Law.
Any order placed by the Buyer and accepted by www.bestpricebeds ltd is subject to the following terms and conditions unless specified in writing by either of the 2 Directors of Bestpricebeds ltd
You will be sent a email notified to the contrary within 48 hours of this confirmation, the order will be deemed to be accepted by www.bestpricebeds ltd.
www.bestpricebeds ltd retains the right to refuse any order that is subject to an error on its website and will in these circumstances reimburse the Buyer in full.
Description of goods
The description of the goods will be as specified within the confirmation e-mail and it is the Buyers responsibility to check that the Goods specified are as the Buyer intended to order. a Hand Written receipt will be posted to the Customer as proof of his order , It is Up to the Customer to check this receipt , in Order for Him/Her to Clarify what has been ordered . All sizes given are approximate and the Buyer should satisfy them self that the goods will fit into the delivery address. The normal bed and mattress sizes (i.e. 3, 0" single 4'6" double and 5'0" king) refer to the sleeping surface only, all bed frames will add extra overall measurements. The Buyer should check the overall dimensions given for each product and be sure that they will fit in the room of choice. Where the buyer purchases super king size spring interior mattresses, please be aware that these products will not bend or fold and thus adequate access i.e. staircase, landing and high ceilings may be required.
Please noted that all bed frames are supplied without mattresses. All divan beds are supplied without headboards, there is no exception to this. Pictures depicting a divan bed or an adjustable bed with a headboard are for show only, headboards are an extra cost (if available).
There may be certain items included in the illustration of a product which are not part of the product and are not included in the product description and are not part of the order (for example, bedside tables, lamps and bedcovers). These will also be an extra cost or they may not even be available as they may have been used for photographic purposes only.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time the order is placed and www.bestpricebeds ltd will collect the payment from the debit/credit card details supplied.
All Prices and charges on this site are in U.K. pounds and include any V.A.T payable at the prevailing rate.
Delivery
The prices shown on our website include FREE HOME DELIVERY anywhere within mainland UK.
Delivery of goods
We use a professional furniture distribution company to deliver most of our beds, mattresses, bed frames, sofa beds and bedroom furniture on our behalf.
· They will deliver to a room of your choice (providing that this is accessible and provides no health and safety risks to the delivery team).
· Deliveries are made Monday to Friday dependant on location.Some Postcodes will incur Delays Longer than 10 Days We Normally Quote. See Lead Times
· The delivery company will generally contact you 2 days before the day that they would like to deliver, and give you an approximate time slot for that day.
· If requested the delivery company will contact you 30 minutes prior to delivery.
Delivery of bed linen, pillows, headboards, some bed frames and some mattresses will be via an overnight courier and delivery will be door to door.
Delivery of items from stock
Items that are in stock at our central warehouse will be delivered within 10 working days by a professional furniture distribution company. Some Areas Will occur Extra Time , I.e Postcodes Such as TA, TQ, PL, SA, LL, SY, EX, DT, YO, HG, TR, PL, TW, CA, DL, DH, NE, Dh, TS, ... This will be a two man delivery to room of choice.
On some items you are able to 'select a day', these items will be delivered using an overnight courier or royal mail. (Some items That are Deemed as Perishable , Which May Be damaged in Transit via a Choose a Day Service Will only Be delivered by Our 2 Man Room of Choice Delivery Service.).This will be a one man delivery between 9am to 5pm and is a door to door service. Saturday AM deliveries are available, but will incur a surcharge of £25.
Delivery of multiple items
Where multiple items have been purchased i.e. divan bed & headboard, mattress & a bed frame, etc. all items will be delivered in one shipment.
Collection of old bed or mattress
When the delivery company delivers your new product, they can take away your old mattress or divan bed. The charge for this service is £40, please call us on 01379 855456 if you wish to add this service to your order.
Please note that this service is not available in Scotland and other selected postcodes.
Lead times
The delivery lead time will be shown when you select your item.
Please allow extra an extra 3 to 5 days for deliveries to Scotland , Northern England and West of England With the following postcodes: TA, TQ, PL, SA, LL, SY, EX, DT, YO, HG, TR, PL, TW, NE, CA, LA, DH, DL, TS,
We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of any unexpected delay.
Choose a day delivery service or fastrack delivery
Some Mattresses and Bedframes Can be Delivered by Nightfreight Next day Courier , We will pack Your Product and send it the Day Before You wish to receive it, 99% of deliveries are Delivered between 11.30am and 5.30pm .., This is Free of Charge in England, Scotland and Wales ( chargable to Scottish islands & isle of Anglessey)..Mattresses and Well Packed Bed Frames can be sent to Northern or Southern Ireland the Cost for A Mattress or a Bed Frame will Be £50 by this service, and generally take 3-4 days. This Service unfortunatley is a Door to Door Service , if You In A block of Flats this will mean to the Door of the Tenament Not Flat Door.
Non mainland deliveries
Certain Products such as Divan Beds , Large Mattresses , Sofa Beds or Frames can be delivered to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scottish Isles Orkneys, Isle of Skye, Mull, Hebridies etc , Channel Isles, and Isle of Man . Through a Carrier Based in Bristol Called PDf ..The extra cost in delivery to these Areas would be at least £140 Per Item , For Example a Divan Bed Double, King, or Super King Size would be £140 or A bed frame plus a Mattress would Be £140. In most cases delivery would be by one man to your door. Please note Deliveries that are Sent out on a Door To Door Service , are Your responsibility once You take the Product over Your Threshold , Any damage that may occur once taken in to your Dwelling can not be liable to Best pricebeds as this Service is a Door to Your Front Door Service. Divan Beds can not be delivered Upstairs because the third party carrier in Northern and Southern ireland does not provide that service. We can Send Parcels of Pillows , Quilts and all Bed linen to Channel islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man , or Northern or Sothern Ireland , The Charge for This Service is £ 20 per Shipment. ( please note Bedlinen is Non Returnable unless faulty) If you are interested please give us a call before you place your order so that we can confirm if we are able to deliver your chosen items.
We reserve the right to refuse any order that we feel is unsuitable to be shipped.
Supplimentary Delivery Charges
Please Note as From 1st October 2011 All Deliveries to the Following Postcodes will incur a Charge of £ 25 the Postcodes are All AB , DD, IV, KW, and PH7 and Above , FK18 and Above , PA20 and Above and Ph20 and Above. You will be contacted after placing your order to Pay for this charge or Given the Oppurtunnity to Cancel Your Order . This will be a two man delivery to room of choice.(providing that this is accessible and provides no health and safety risks to the delivery team).
Other delivery information
Please check the dimensions of the delivery address for access (including doors, corridors, stairs and corners) and the proposed location before ordering large pieces of furniture, I.E large Mattresses and Sofa Beds to ensure successful delivery, and to confirm that the product is the right size for your needs. Where large products are returned as unwanted, we reserve the right to make a charge of £50 to cover the collection cost. It is also the customer's responsibility to remove all paintings, mirrors or any other objects that may hinder your product from going upstairs or that may get damaged during the delivery. Bestpricebeds ltd will not be held responsible for any damage caused to property during delivery. Please retain the original packaging for 7 days for the purpose of returning any faulty, damaged or unwanted items.
Please note you need to check your goods when they are delivered, if you sign for something as being correct i.e. boxed well, no dents, marks or indentations, and then find the product has visible damage, there will be No possible claim against the Carrier or Bestpricebeds ltd. It is up to the customer to thoroughly check the product before signing for the goods.
Where the Goods cannot be delivered on the day arranged due to the fault of the buyer, Where the Delivery Company Have arranged Delivery with you the Customer , Only to find no one at Home on The Day of Delivery. www.bestpricebeds ltd retains the right to charge a further £45 for "re-delivery" to cover costs incurred. This charge will be taken from the debit/credit card used to purchase the Goods. If the buyer is unable to accept delivery on the day submitted by the delivery company, a further date will be a need to be advised. Please note this may delay delivery of the buyers order by up to 2weeks due to the fact that the delivery company may not cover certain areas of the country on a regular basis.
If www.bestpricebeds ltd has failed to deliver the Goods within 60 working days of the order date due to its own neglect then the Buyer may either cancel the contract without penalty and Have a Full Refund.
Most Goods will require some form of assembly and it is the Buyer's responsibility to assemble the Goods. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check the goods and make sure they are in good condition before assembling the product. If During Assembly a Fault is found , Please report the Fault/Problem as soon as possible to allow us to remedy the problem. Where we can advise on the Problem in the best way . If a Fault is found after you the consumer has had the product for a period of time , then they may be liable to a Refund minus the Enjoyment they have had in the period of time they have had the Goods.
Delivery will be made to the delivery address specified on the original order. If you wish to change the delivery address we may have to re-submit your payment method to verify the card holder's details.
Delivery will be deemed to have taken place when the Goods have been delivered to the agreed address (www.bestpricebeds ltd do not need to satisfy themselves that the person accepting delivery at the agreed address is authorized by the Buyer to accept the Goods)
Guarantees
All Goods are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a minimum period of twelve months from the date of delivery. After 12 months your guarantee reverts to the manufacturer's warranty, for this to be valid it the responsibility of the buyer to retain the receipt of purchase and the manufacturer's warranty card. This is in addition to the rights of the Consumer under the sale of Goods act 1979.
Settlement
When settlement occurs , often customers think it is a Fault , where as it often is not , Mattress filling will move within the encasement of a mattress , whether the Mattress is Turnable or Non Turnable , Arguably it is slightly more likely to move in a One sided mattress , than in a Turnable Mattress . Where a Mattress is Made using Natural Fillings, or Polyester Fibre the movement is more noticeable. If Your Mattress is Turnable then you need to Turn it over every 6 weeks and rotate it clockwise as well, Where as if it is Non Turnable you need to rotate it every 6 weeks , especially if 2 people of different weights are sleeping within the Mattress.
Refund & return of Goods
We hope you'll be pleased with your purchase. If you should change your mind, and wish to return anything bought from bestpricebeds ltd , we'll be happy to refund or exchange a product providing it's in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in original, undamaged packaging.* Please see below for exceptions to this policy.
When you buy online or by phone, you have additional rights as a consumer under the Distance Selling Regulations. This means if you as the purchaser notify us in writing of your wish to return an item within 7 working days after the Day of Delivery , we’ll refund you for the purchase price ..
Please make sure you take reasonable care of the item while it's in your possession, As you have a Duty of care for the product while in your possesion. . This Means if you the consumer can return any Product , but where a Duty of care has not been undertaken , you as the Consumer may be liable to pay Damage.
Under the distance selling regulation you can return any product to us, With in a 7 Day cooling off period , If the product which has been in your possesion is not shown a Duty of Care , you May be liable to compensate the Company Best pricebeds ltd.
Refunds can only be made to the original card of purchase. Refunds to a card other than the original can only be processed under the following circumstances:
- The original account no longer exists
- The original account details have expired
- The order has been placed exclusively with gift vouchers
- The recipient requires a credit
We're unable to offer a refund or exchange on personalised, made-to measure/order or perishable goods (such as made to Measure Sofa Beds in Specific Colours or Fabrics or Special Size Mattresses or Beds.) unless they're faulty.
Unanted purchases of Goods

Weight Limits
Although no Manafacturer gives any specific recommendations on the Weight certain beds and Mattress take, it always best to contact us for our recommendations before purchasing , Often many Divan Sets that are not Firm Pocket spring beds will not take more Than 16 stone per single bed or 30 stone combined on a Double or King size . So it is always best to check with us before purchasing , Often some beds can be re inforced to make them stronger if they are for people heavier than listed above.
Cancellation of made-to-order products
Should you wish to cancel your made-to-order or made-to-measure product for any reason, it's unlikely that we could sell it to another customer at full selling price. We'll charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the full selling price. In respect of these products our usual refund policy does not apply, and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.*
*None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described. For your rights of cancellation under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations
Refunds on Goods cancelled prior to delivery will be made as soon as possible following written notification of cancellation and in any case will not exceed a period of 30 days of that written notice. All refunds will be made onto the same card used to make the original purchase.
Note special sizes and made to measure beds are unable to be cancelled prior to delivery.
Refunds on Goods already delivered will take place as soon as we are advised of your wish to return the product , However if the Product is not made available then bestpricebeds ltd will claim for compensation through legal avenues.
You will not be entitled to any redress where a fault is specifically drawn to the buyers attention before the contract of sale is made I.e shop soiled, or Damaged products, Or where the buyer examines the goods before the contract is made., which that examination ought to reveal the fault. The Consumer who purchases goods instore would not have rights under the sale of goods act 1979, However if the purchase is made via distance means the consumer/Purchaser would have seven days from the beginning of the day after the goods were received to cancel the contact.
The Sale of Goods act 1979 would also not apply where the consumer has merely changed their mind , However is the Sale is done by distance , The consumer then has the right to cancel the Contract.
The Customer/Consumer is entitled to cancel the contract , but use of the goods would indicate a breach of the duty to take reasonable care , with the effect that a refund can be reduced .
PRICE PROMISE Please give the Following details phone number, your Order Number, product description and price, the name of website that you found the cheaper price. Once we receive your information, our sales team will verify your claim and contact you by telephone or email.
Price Promise Terms
The offer only applies to purchases over £300. Applications for the price promise must be sent via e-mail 48 hours after purchase. The offer applies to the overall price including any vat and delivery charge.
A price comparison must come from a recognized, reputable, legally trading UK internet retailer. Price promise does not cover the following types of goods: damaged goods, shop floor models, ex-display, second hand goods, discontinued goods or bulk buys. Also we will not Price match products from Non Approved stockists of a Product, who also do not carry that item in stock. All refunds will be made onto the same card used to make the original purchase.

Cancellation
The Buyer may cancel the goods at any time within the cancellation period by giving www.bestpricebeds ltd notice of the cancellation in writing or in another durable medium, prior to the goods not being delivered otherwise a charge may be levied.
Goods that have specially been made to order i.e. sofa beds, special size beds or mattresses cannot be cancelled if the goods have been made at time of the cancellation request.
