The Gel Flex 1000 pocket adjustable bed is new and offers a comfortable medium feel mattress that has been made up using a deep base layer of pocketed springs equivalent to 1000 springs in a king size mattress, along with a 2.5cm layer of Air-Lite cooling comfort foam and a top 2.5cm layer of gel flex cooling foam. The mattress is further enhanced with foam encapsulation around the mattress to give better side support. This non turn mattress has a soft knit top sleeping surface made for a softer sleeping experience.
The bed size shown in the picture is double size 135cm x 200cm long with one action.
This model like all Adjust-A-Bed models is supplied with a united kingdom made adjustable base which can take one person up to 25 stones in weight. The base has a 5 part adjustable slat system that incorporates 28 sprung birch slats, powered by twin motor mechanism. You can add storage to the base with the option of end, 2 or 4 drawers. For a some bases you have the option of selecting which side of the base the 2 drawers will go. The options are left hand facing (LHF) or right hand facing (RHF).
The base comes as standard with a corded hand control, but you do have the option of upgrading to a infra red remote control if required.
You also have the option adding a headboard. There are two styles, the standard strutted headboard or a full height floor standing headboard.
Delivery is normally 10-14 days direct from the factory to room of choice with full installation.
The bed comes with a 5 year guarantee.
Please note the room will need to be empty on arrival ready for new bed to assembled and they do not remove or recycle your old bed.
If you need a non-standard mattress size, like 75cm x 190cm or 90cm x 190cm, we can have it made for you. The cost will be the standard online price plus an additional 25% for the custom size.
