You can purchase a Adjustable Bed VAT-free if you have a chronic illness, disability, or terminal illness and the bed is for personal use. Eligible conditions: arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, copd, hiatus hernia, lupus, angina, parkinsons, fibromyalgia, ms, me, terminal illness and mental impairments affecting daily life. How to claim: contact us and we will supply a declaration of eligibility form. Being elderly alone doesn't qualify, there must be a chronic condition or disability.

This is the new Tri Comfort adjustable bed, it offers a 20cm deep mattress that contains no springs. It is made using a layer of high grade density foam as a base layer and then a weightless softer foam on top. This top foam is firmer than memory foam but supports the body depending on your weight. There is Firm tension for people 20 stone and above Medium tension probably for people 15 stone to 20 stone and Soft tension for anyone under 15 stone. You need to remember as this mattress has no springs and even though it is available in Soft, it is not going to be as soft as a mattress with springs. The base illustrated is the I-Motion base which is a more expensive base, this can be added as an Extra , but the standard price as seen is based on the Standard Action base.
Drawers are also available as an Extra along with a Headboard if required. There is now a wide choice of A standard price fabrics and B range upgrade fabrics.
Please note the room will need to be empty on arrival ready for new bed to assembled and they do not remove or recycle your old bed.
If you need a non-standard mattress size, like 75cm x 190cm or 90cm x 190cm, we can have it made for you. The cost will be the standard online price plus an additional 25% for the custom size.
