Here at Bestpricebeds we work hard to maintain a good level of service. Because we know that price is important, but so is good customer service. With nearly 40 years in the bed and furniture industry we have a great knowledge that we are happy to share with our customers. We aim to offer a comprehensive and unbiased view of the products we sell.

Delivery

Delivery lead times
The time taken to deliver goods is dependent on manufacturer and if the goods are in stock. On the website when you select a size for a product the delivery lead time will be shown under the price.

Delivery of goods (2 man delivery service)
We use a professional furniture distribution company to deliver most of our beds, mattresses, bed frames, sofa beds and bedroom furniture on our behalf. Deliveries are done area by area with all postcodes in a certain area being done on one day.

• The delivery company will generally contact you 2 days before the day they would like to deliver.
• The day before delivery they will contact you with an approximate time slot.
• On the day the driver will contact you 30 minutes before delivery.
• They will deliver to a room of your choice (providing that this is accessible and provides no health and safety risks to the delivery team.
• Please note, when our delivery company personnel deliver your order (mattress, bed, base, headboard, bed frame or sofa bed) they will need a clear path to your room of choice. This means any furniture that could be an obstacle needs to be moved out of harm’s way, so as not to get knocked over when taking your goods through your home.Wherever possible please cover any carpets or wooden floors.
• Our delivery company will take the utmost care, but they do need a clear path.
• All bed frames i.e. leather, wood, metal, lift up storage beds, bunk beds, high sleepers, will be delivered flat packed for home self assembly.
• Deliveries are made dependent on location.
• If they leave an answer phone message, txt or email, your product will only be delivered when you have contacted them to confirm the delivery date.

Choose a day delivery service (1 man delivery service)
When you select an item and a calendar appears, this is the “Choose a day service”. It offers you the chance to choose a day for delivery. It can be the next working day (if purchased before 12 noon) or you can choose a day in the future.
Areas above Glasgow will take between 3 to 5 days, please take this into consideration when selecting your delivery date. Goods are dispatched by ourselves or directly from our suppliers by various carriers like ParcelForce, DX Freight, Xdp, Dpd. Deliveries are by one man to the first accessible ground floor door of the premises. Please note, if you live above ground floor, you will have go to the front door of the building to receive your goods.
They do not offer a call before delivery. A signature will be required, so please have someone at home on the delivery date, or ask us to deliver to a neighbor if you are not at home.
The driver is not insured to take any items into your property.

Delivery of multiple items
Where multiple items have been purchased i.e. divan bed & headboard, mattress & bed frame, etc. we will try to deliver the goods together when they have arrived at the warehouse from the suppliers. But this is not always possible.

Non delivery of goods (2 man delivery)
Where the goods have been arranged and booked in for a delivery and then when delivery company arrive there is no one at home able to take delivery on the agreed day and time, then you could be charged a re-delivery cost normally around £60. The delivery company will then contact you again when they can be in your area next to arrange delivery. If you decide to cancel your order rather than pay the re-delivery cost, the £60 will be deducted from your refund.

Delivery info for deliveries to IOM, IOW, Northern & Southern Ireland
Delivery to Isle of Man & Isle of Wight is £80 pounds for a mattress. Sorry we can not deliver a divan bed to IOM as the cost to deliver a base is 1.5x times the cube age cost of a mattress, making a whole bed (mattress & base) well over £200.

We do not deliver to any other Island in the UK, and as such do not allow exchanges or returns from any island.
We also are unable to offer assembly or recycling of old old mattress/bed in IOW, IOM or Northern Ireland.
The cost of delivery to Northern Ireland from October 1st 2026 will rise to £100 per item. This fee does not includes the mandatory Goods in Movement certificate required by the Government which costs £20 per item which we currently absorb into
The Delivery Cost . Smaller items like pillows and bedding can be sent via Parcelforce for an extra £10.
