The Hypnos Orthos Support 7 uses the Hypnos Reactive turn spring system, offered in either Firm or Extra Firm and benefits from a support layer of Oelus recycled fibre, Cotton from the Cotton initiative and layers of British wool, certified to responsible Wool standards on both sides. The mattress can be turned and used on both sides, it has 2 rows of hand side stitching and is covered in an unbleached cotton sleep surface that is free from harmful chemicals and 100% recyclable with nothing to landfill.
The mattress is available in two tensions, firm or extra firmer. The firm tension has a firm feel, while the extra firm tension has a extra firm feel.
The standard configuration (which Hypnos recommends) for the divan is a platform top hard base. If you wish for a slightly softer feel you can upgrade to a firm edge pocket spring base.
In standard sizes such as single, double, king, and super king, you have the option to enhance your setup with a super storage ottoman base or a taller hideaway base for added storage.
Hypnos divan bases can be finished with a range of castors, feet and leg options to suit your bedroom style.
The deep base comes with chrome castors as standard, with the option to upgrade to locking castors. Alternative feet include the Dome metal foot in brushed brass or black chrome, the square Profile wooden foot in brown or black, and the rounded Halo wooden foot in black oak or natural oak.
For shallow platform top bases on legs or shallow firm edge bases, there are several leg styles available. Arc is a natural tapered wooden leg, while Spire is a sleek metal design available in brushed brass or brushed chrome. Other options include the Deco polished brass leg, the Urban V-shaped charcoal metal leg and the Estelle leg with a striking black and brass finish.
Please note that the headboard is an additional cost on all divan beds. You can choose from a strutted headboard on legs, a euro slim floor-standing headboard, or an extra wide floor-standing headboard. However, for a shallow base, only a shallow headboard can be selected.
