The Hypnos Pillow Top Classic divan bed offers Comfort Supreme with a luxury pillow top.
The main springs in the core of the mattress feature a ReActivePro™ pocket spring system, where each spring has 6 active turns, slightly higher tension springs are used at the mattress edge to give more support. This along with 2 rows of genuine hand side stitching ensures that you can use the whole of the sleeping surface.
The Hypnos Pillow Top Classic features a plush mattress top that is filled with 2 fleeces of British wool traceable to British farms and certified to the Responsible Wool standard. British wool is not the only filling, as it also contains Solotex fibre filling and the new sustainable Himalayan Allo plant with Cotton and Kapok. The Classic model is the first in this new range that benefits from the Adaptive springs in the pillow pad giving extra comfort.
The luxurious cotton cover is infused with a treatment, derived from natural extracts, to meet fire retardancy standards.
The mattress is available in two tensions, medium or firmer. The medium tension has a medium to soft feel, while the firmer tension has a medium feel.
The mattress is 100% recyclable at end of life.
The standard configuration for the divan base is a platform top hard base, this gives the mattress a slightly firmer feel. But for the optimal experience, Hypnos recommends upgrading to a firm edge pocket base. In standard sizes such as single, double, king, and super king, you have the option to enhance your setup with a super storage ottoman base or a taller hideaway base for added storage.
Hypnos divan bases can be finished with a range of castors, feet and leg options to suit your bedroom style.
The deep base comes with chrome castors as standard, with the option to upgrade to locking castors. Alternative feet include the Dome metal foot in brushed brass or black chrome, the square Profile wooden foot in brown or black, and the rounded Halo wooden foot in black oak or natural oak.
For shallow platform top bases on legs or shallow firm edge bases, there are several leg styles available. Arc is a natural tapered wooden leg, while Spire is a sleek metal design available in brushed brass or brushed chrome. Other options include the Deco polished brass leg, the Urban V-shaped charcoal metal leg and the Estelle leg with a striking black and brass finish.
Please note that the headboard is an additional cost on all divan beds. You can choose from a strutted headboard on legs, a euro slim floor-standing headboard, or an extra wide floor-standing headboard. However, for a shallow base, only a shallow headboard can be selected.
