The Malvern is a stylish new ottoman base and is available in a wide range of fabrics and comes with 2 gas struts on a single base and 4 gas struts on small double, double and king size bases. Choose from Carola or Emporio Fabrics in Price Band A , or Upgrade to Band B for dream Faux Suede , or upgrade to Dundee, Ultima Faux leather in Range C. dundee is a mock crocodile print easy care velvet, or Emporia a linen look fabric . The lift up ottoman base offers over 4 x the storage space of a standard 4 drawer divan base and is finished with laminated wood design inside. Base pictured is standard height of 12" plus 2" for castors which give a storage depth of 23cm, but extra height base of 14.5" plus 2" for castor (16.5in total) will give 28cm depth of storage or 16.5" + 2" castors (18.5" total will give 32cm depth of storage), which is available for extra £25 on single, £40 on double and King sizes and £60 on Super King Size. The base comes fully assembled and just needs joining together , all new bases no longer have the matching fabric on the underside of the base lid, instead they have plain black hesian fabric . The headboard pictured is not included in the price but is available to add as a extra as is the whole Oebc headboard range.
