NBF Approved

The National Bed Federation is the recognised trade association representing UK manufacturers of beds and their suppliers. Founded in 1912, its members today account for about 75% of the total UK bedding turnover. A Retail Champions Scheme is dedicated to retailers that stock NBF-approved brands.

In a bid to reassure consumers that the mattress they are buying is safe, clean and exactly what it says it is, the NBF has introduced an NBF Approved logo scheme. It follows months of vigorous independent auditing of the associations members to ensure they follow the procedures that comply with flammability, health and hygiene and trade descriptions regulations. So when you buy your next mattress, make sure it comes from a NBF Approved manufacturer

We are a Retail Champion for the NBF and we try and source as many items we can that are made in the United Kingdom , unfortunatley although we supply Windsor Bed frames which are pine and Oak and made in the UK , all other frames are made in China , However 90% of the mattresses we sell instore and online are all made in the UK , mostly from NBF sourced suppliers.

Brands made in China are Sleepsoul, Loren Williams so although these brands are shown online, we have very little of these brands in store , Just UK made mattresses.
