The Savoy mattress from the old English Bed company is specially designed for use on a adjustable bed base as it contains a 1200 pocket spring unit that allows the springs to move within the slatted bed frame , made with a 1.6mm thick wire it offers a firmer mattress than standard mattresses like the Sleepeezee cool comfort . The Savoy mattress has a topaz insulator pad and contains spun bond polyester, bondafelt and rebound fibre , the cover of the mattress is a more traditional damask style cover that is made up of 59% Viscose , 31 % cotton & 10% Polyproplene and  is fully fire retardant.
