The Rufford Memory Pocket 1500 mattress is designed to deliver superior comfort and reliable support for a restful night’s sleep. Combining high-quality pressure-relieving memory foam with 1500 individually pocketed springs (based on king size), this mattress offers the perfect balance of softness, support, and durability. Each of the 1500 pocket springs works independently, adapting to your body’s shape and weight to provide tailored postural support. This ensures minimal motion transfer, making it ideal for shared beds. Firmer springs are placed along the edges of the mattress to create a reinforced border, giving you full edge-to-edge sleeping space and preventing that “roll-off” feeling. The memory foam layer gently contours to your body, offering excellent pressure relief and helping to ease tension, reduce stress, and relieve aches and pains. This layer reacts to your body heat to mold perfectly to your shape, providing a personalized sleep experience every night.
To enhance durability, the mattress features two rows of side stitching, creating a stronger, more stable edge. It’s also hand tufted with wool tufts—a traditional technique that keeps all the fillings securely in place, giving the mattress a firmer, more supportive feel and a high-quality finish.
The mattress border height is 27cm, with a tolerance of up to 2cm to allow for the natural loft of fillings. This is a no-turn mattress, meaning there’s no need to flip it over, just rotate it regularly to maintain its comfort and shape over time.
The mattress comes as standard on a Relyon Essentials platform top hard base which is available in 2 heights.
The base is available in a wide range of fabric colours of which 20 are free of charge with a further 22 premium fabrics for an extra charge.
The bed comes with various storage options, including drawers, ottoman base or storaway base.
The headboard pictured is called the Blenheim, it is not included in the price but can be added as an optional extra. Or you can choose any Relyon headboard which can be made as a bed fix on legs or floor standing and will be made in the same fabric as the base.
Like all Relyon beds it comes with an 10 year guarantee.
