How is my bed/mattress recycled?
Nearly all the items collected will be sent to a UK based recycling company.
The items are then deconstructed manually which allow the materials to be segregated accurately for onward processing.
Textile products are then sold into UK manufacturing.
Steel is sent to steel mills for re-processing.
Clean wood is sent to be re-processed for chipboard.
Contaminated wood and contaminated textiles are used for energy from waste.
No products are exported so the carbon footprint of the recycling process is minimal.

Please note that this service is only available on mainland England, Wales and Scotland.

Due to health and hygiene regulations, if a mattress is badly stained it must be securely packaged before the delivery company collects.
