The Jay-Be Upright Contract Bed has been developed from an existing product that has been used in hotels for many years, but it has now been adapted for the domestic bed industry.
The frame size of the Upright Contract Bed is 92cm wide x 196cm long and houses a single size 92cm wide mattress that is 183cm long (6ft "), this is 2" inches longer than a standard mattress. You can choose from the standard E-Sprung coil mattress or upgrade to a E-Pocket spring mattress. When upright the mattress is held in place with a strap and is rolled around on four trolley wheels. When the bed is in the sleeping position there is 24cm of clearance under the base and the mattress weight that the bed can take is 190kg or 28 stone. The base of the bed is a Walnut effect plywood with matching headboard.
The Upright Contract Bed has been tested and certified by Ukas accredited testing houses.
