By purchasing through this website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions laid out below. These terms and conditions apply to online and telephone transactions only and do not apply to any purchases made from visiting the store. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a Buyer.
"Buyer" means the Buyer who buys or agrees to buy Goods on this website from Bestpricebeds Ltd
"Goods" means all products listed on the order and the order confirmation e-mail
"Consumer" has the meaning given in section 12 Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977
"Special Items" mean any Goods that are not held in stock by Bestpricebeds ltd and are ordered and/or manufactured specifically for the Buyer.
"Delivery" means the delivery of the Goods to the delivery address specified on the order.

Risk and ownership
The Goods shall be at the Buyer's risk once delivery has taken place. The Buyer must take all reasonable care of the Goods. Should the Goods be returned to Bestpricebeds ltd having been damaged while in the Buyer's care, the cost of such damage will be recovered from the Buyer.
Ownership of the Goods will only pass when cleared funds have been received from the Buyer, regardless of whether delivery has taken place.

Limitations of liability
All contracts shall be governed by English Law.
Any order placed by the Buyer and accepted by Bestpricebeds ltd is subject to the following terms and conditions unless specified in writing by either of the Directors of Bestpricebeds ltd.
You will be sent an email notified to the contrary within 48 hours of this confirmation, the order will be deemed to be accepted by Bestpricebeds ltd.
Bestpricebeds ltd retains the right to refuse any order that is subject to an error on its website and will in these circumstances reimburse the Buyer in full.

Description of goods
Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, warranties and guarantees.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.
The description of the goods will be as specified within the confirmation e-mail and it is the Buyers responsibility to check that the Goods specified are as the Buyer intended to order. A hand written receipt will be posted to the customer as proof of his order, it is up to the customer to check this receipt in order for them to clarify what has been ordered.
Please note that all bed frames are supplied without mattresses. All divan beds are supplied without headboards, there is no exception to this. Pictures depicting a divan bed or an adjustable bed with a headboard are for show only, headboards are an extra cost (if available). All bed frames and divan beds will require some assembling.
There may be certain items included in the illustration of a product which are not part of the product and are not included in the product description and are not part of the order (for example, bedside tables, lamps and bed covers). These will also be an extra cost or they may not even be available as they may have been used for photographic purposes only.

Full payment is required at the time the order is placed and Bestpricebeds ltd will collect the payment from the debit/credit card details supplied.
All Prices and charges on this site are in U.K. pounds and include any V.A.T payable at the prevailing rate.

Online Purchases
Please note when you pay online you will be directed to a Payment processing company in this case Handepay, you will need to make sure that your billing address you enter is where your card statements come to, the cardholders address should be the same however in some cases it is not, then you will need to put your delivery address. Once all this information is put in to the system your transaction will go through, sometimes if your information is incorrect, i.e wrong postcode, flat number and house number your transaction will be credit scored on the following information, if your score is above the Handepay guidelines then your order may be refused and with this we reserve the right to cancel any transaction.

We offer free delivery to most parts of the England However these English Post Codes will incur a Delivery Charge TR, TQ , TA, PL, EX, SY , Wales Postcodes that will incur a Charge are CF , LD , LL, NP, SA. and All Scottish postcodes will incur a charge of 40 pounds are AB, DD, PH, IV , KW, PA, PH, G, KA, EH, TD, DG,

All deliveries to Scottish Islands, Northern & Southern Ireland and Channel Islands are priced on applications.

Delivery lead times
The time taken to deliver goods is dependent on manufacturer and if the goods are in stock. On the website when you select a size for a product the delivery lead time will be shown under the price.

Delivery of goods (2 man delivery service)
We use a professional furniture distribution company to deliver most of our beds, mattresses, bed frames, sofa beds and bedroom furniture on our behalf. Deliveries are done area by area with all postcodes in a certain area being done on one day.
  • They will deliver to a room of your choice (providing that this is accessible and provides no health and safety risks to the delivery team).
  • Deliveries are made Monday to Friday dependant on location.
  • All bed frames i.e. leather, wood, metal, lift up storage beds, bunk beds, high sleepers, will be delivered flat packed for home self assembly.
  • The delivery company will generally contact you 2 days before the day that they would like to deliver, and give you an approximate time slot for that day.
  • If they leave an answer phone message on a landline phone or a voicemail message on a mobile, your product will only be delivered when you call them back to confirm delivery.
Choose a day delivery service
When you select an item and a calendar appears, this is the choose a day service. The Choose a Day Delivery service offers you the chance to choose a day for delivery. It can be the next working day (if purchased before 12 noon) or you can choose a day in the future.

Areas above Glasgow will take between 3 to 5 days, please take this into consideration when selecting your delivery date. Goods are despatched by ourselves or directly from our suppliers on this service via various carriers like DX Freight, Tufnells, Xdp, Dpd. Deliveries are by one man to the first accessible ground floor door of the premises. Please note, if you live above ground floor, you will have go to the front door of the building to receive your goods.
You will not be called before delivery on this service, so you will not get a call on the day from the driver. You will need to have someone at home to accept delivery between the hours of 9 am and 5.30 pm and when you purchase this item on the Choose a Day service, you do on the understanding of how this service works.

The driver is not insured to take any items into your property Please take note of this before you order, as once the goods are sent from ourselves this cannot be changed, and orders cancelled because you are not aware of this will be charged at 60 ppunds.

Serene, Avant Garde, Limelight, Flintshire, Birlea, Sweet Dreams and Kaydian bed frames are sent direct to you from a central warehouse. However they do not deliver to Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or Eire.

Delivery of multiple items
Where multiple items have been purchased i.e. divan bed & headboard, mattress & bed frame, etc. we will try to deliver the goods together when they have arrived at the warehouse from the suppliers. But this is not always possible.

Non delivery of goods (2 man delivery)
Where the goods have been arranged and booked in for a delivery and there is no one able to take delivery on the agreed day and time, then you could be charged a re-delivery cost of ?60. The delivery company will then contact you again when they can be in your area next to arrange delivery.

All sizes given are approximate and the Buyer should satisfy them self that the goods will fit into the delivery address. The normal bed and mattress sizes (i.e. 3, 0" single 4'6" double and 5'0" king) refer to the sleeping surface only, all bed frames will add extra overall measurements. The Buyer should check the overall dimensions given for each product and be sure that they will fit in the room of choice. Where the buyer purchases super king size mattresses, please be aware that these products will not bend or fold and thus adequate access i.e. staircase, landing and high ceilings may be required.

Inspection of Goods
Please note you need to check your goods when they are delivered, if you sign for something as being correct i.e. boxed well, no dents, marks or indentations, and then find the product has visible damage, there will be No possible claim against the carrier or Bestpricebeds ltd you have a maximum time of 14 days to report a fault or a problem with the item you have purchased , after this time anything you have will be classed as you have accepted it .
Most Goods will require some form of assembly and it is the Buyer's responsibility to assemble the Goods. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check the goods and make sure they are in good condition before assembling the product. If during assembly a fault is found, please report the fault/problem as soon as possible to allow us to remedy the problem.

Events outside our control
Bestpricebeds Ltd will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance due to any event outside our control. This includes strikes, industrial action by third parties, natural disasters, traffic accidents, weather or any other event out of our control.
We are not responsible for damage to your property caused by third parties, including couriers. Your remedy in such cases lies with the insurers of the third party.

Cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract after your order has already been dispatched, we will refund the original purchase price minus collection of either 49 to 69 pounds depending on item you wish to return to us , Please note we do not accept goods back from Channel Islands , Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or Isle of wight, so if you purchase goods to these areas please take this in to consideration. You can return to us as long as you have notified us in writing no longer than 14 working days after the day on which you receive the products, and that you have taken reasonable care of the Products and they are in perfect condition , if you wish to return a mattress , you must have used with a mattress cover , the item will need to be fully wrapped in its original packaging as it arrived with you . If you had Free Gifts with the Items , then they will need to be returned too, as they are only gifted to you if you keep the Bed or mattress they came with. If you had Free Recycle of old mattress or bed as a gift, then we will charge you 40 pounds for this gift.

Please note that your right to return Products does NOT apply to Products which fall into the following categories unless they are faulty or not as described:

  • Made to order or personalised goods (sofa beds, fabric bed frames, special size mattresses or beds)
  • Vacuum packed mattresses that have been opened and all bedding by their nature cannot be returned unless faulty, this includes mattress protectors, quilts, toppers and pillows.
When you buy online or by phone, you have additional rights as a consumer under the Distance Selling Regulations. This means if you as the purchaser notify us of your wish to return an item within 14 days of receiving it, we will arrange an exchange or a refund. However it is vitally important that you retain the packaging the mattress came in so you can re pack as new to return to us.
If you do not like the product and simply wish to return your purchase, we will require notification in writing. Please email us at info@bestpricebeds.co.uk (or reply to your order confirmation email) with your full name, order number, delivery address, and the items you have received.
You will need to do this within 14 days of receiving the goods.
When we have received this we will contact you to discuss your requirements.
Mattresses can only be returned when they have been used with a good quality mattress cover and are repacked in their original packaging we will also only accept a mattress back where it has been used without a mattress protector/cover we may not collect it. You must Not let the delivery company take the packaging away if you are thinking of returning the mattress. This does not apply for Vacuum packed rolled mattresses, these cannot be returned once opened. Also bespoke Mattresses like 160 x 200 or Pillow Top zipped mattresses and other special sizes cannot be returned, these mattresses are only sold on the basis that they are made to order and not off the peg products.
Bed frames and furniture must not have been assembled, if it has been assembled you will need to dismantle it and re pack it in its original packaging.
Please retain all packaging until you are completely satisfied.
Any goods that you wish to return MUST be in their original packaging and in perfect condition.
On delivery, it is the customers responsibility to inform the delivery company that they wish to keep any packaging before the delivery company removes it. It must be fully bagged sealed and ready to go on the day of collection.
Please remember anything you wish to return must be in perfect condition, if it is a mattress it must have been used with a mattress protector for the time you have had it, also the packaging the mattress came in must be retained by you and fully wrapped in original packaging and sealed. If it is a bed frame you must retain all boxes and flat pack the bed frame back in to the boxes it came in. Please note all bedding, pillows, duvets, toppers, mattress covers purchase separately cannot be returned at all.

Products we're unable to refund or exchange
We're unable to offer a refund or exchange on personalised, made-to-measure, special size or perishable goods (such as sofa beds, divan bases and headboards in specific colours or fabrics, special size mattresses, Pillow top zipped mattresses or beds. For reasons of health and hygiene all bedding by their nature cannot be returned unless faulty, this includes mattress protectors, quilts, toppers and pillows.
If you wish us to collect the goods, you must make the goods available for collection and during this time keep the goods in the same condition in which you received them. You may not use the goods. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation and can reduce or adjust your refund to the resale value and condition of the item.
The customer will be charged a return fee of 69 pounds per item. This cost may vary depending on the individual product size and the customers location up to ?149 Please Note we do not accept Returns of any Product from Isle of Wight, Isle of Man or Channel Islands . Please bare this in mind if you live in these areas before you purchase.
Please note - If you received any free gifts like a gift voucher, mattress protector/cover or pillows, these free gifts will need to be returned as well. If you had free recycle of an old bed or mattress as a gift, then we reserve the right to deduct the cost of this collection service (40 pounds) from your refund, as this free gift is only applicable upon you keeping the product you ordered.
When the goods have been returned and inspected the refund will be issued.
Refunds can take up to 28 days and can only be made to the original card of purchase. Refunds to a card other than the original can only be processed under the following circumstances:
The original account no longer exists
The original account details have expired
The order has been placed exclusively with gift vouchers
The recipient requires a credit

All Goods are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a minimum period of twelve months from the date of delivery. After 12 months your guarantee reverts to the manufacturer's warranty, for this to be valid it the responsibility of the buyer to retain the receipt of purchase and the manufacturer's warranty card. This is in addition to the rights of the Consumer under the sale of Goods act 1979.
Please remember if you are purchasing a mattress to put on a slatted base , The Gap between the slats must not exceed 7 cm . However certain manufacturers have different guidelines

Weight Limits
Although no Manufacturer gives any specific recommendations on the weight certain beds and mattress take, it always best to contact us for our recommendations before purchasing. Often many divan sets that are not firm pocket spring beds will not take more than 16 stone per single bed or 30 stone combined on a double or king size. So it is always best to check with us before purchasing, often some beds can be re-enforced to make them stronger if they are for people heavier than listed above.
